In recent years, the company has embraced environmental sustainability as one of its key business objectives.  An important achievement for Ki Residences Developer was when they received the BCA Green Mark Platinum Award (Non- Residential Buildings) for Royal Square at Novena in 2014.  This marked a significant milestone for the company as it continues to build upon its Green strategy.  In December 2019, Ki Residences Developer secured a $332.5 million green loan to help finance the acquisition of the Andaz hotel.

This is the first green loan for South-east Asia’s hospitality industry.  The five-star Andaz Singapore was awarded the BCA Green Mark (Hotel) Goldplus Award in 2013 for its environmentally friendly attributes that help reduce energy and water consumption.  With the urgent call to conserve the environment, the Monetary Authority of Singapore has also established grant schemes to support the growth of green and sustainability-linked loans to encourage developers to adopt sustainable development strategies that will deliver both positive returns for the company and the environment.

Besides the environment, excellence in design and development are also major focus areas for Ki Residences Developer who was awarded the World Gold Winner in the Residential (Mid Rise) category at the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards 2020 for the development of Sophia Hills.  Judged by a team of professionals and experts in the field, Sophia Hills by Hoi Hup Realty shone above the rest with its outstanding achievement in all aspects of real estate disciplines.  Not only was this an honor for Ki Residences Developer but it was also a proud moment for the Singapore property development industry to be recognized on an international platform.

For the past 37 years, Ki Residences Developer has amassed quite a long list of achievements in Singapore.  Hoi Hup Realty is no stranger to launching multiple projects all at the same time.  At this moment, it is developing 3 large executive condominiums projects across Singapore namely Rivercove Residences at Anchorvale Lane, Parc Canberra at Canberra Link, and Parc Central at Tampines Avenue 10.  

In addition to residential developments, Ki Residences Developer has also expanded its portfolio with commercial property in Singapore and London.  As part of the company’s strategy to diversify its property business, Hoi Hup Realty acquired 2 commercial properties in prime London Midtown location with significant potential in the prospect of leasing, asset management and redevelopment.  Located on the south side of High Holborn beside Chancery Lane Underground station,  322 High Holborn offers 70,308 sq ft (6,532 sq m) of office, retail and residential space while 44 Southampton Buildings comprises a floor area of 17,444 sq ft (1,621 sq m) and it is presently on a 15-year lease to Beaumont Business Centres. 

Besides commercial properties, Ki Residences Developer is also expanding its business into the hospitality sector.  Their first foray into the hospitality business was the development of Royal Square at Novena which housed the first Courtyard by Marriott Singapore.  In October 2019, Hoi Hup Realty acquired Andaz Singapore which is a luxury lifestyle hotel operated by Hyatt International.  Launched in Jan 2018, Andaz is strategically located in the midtown of Singapore amongst the transformation zone of the Beach Road/Ophir-Rochor Corridor.  The 342-room hotel occupies the highest floors of the iconic DUO Tower from level 24 to level 39 and it features renowned F&B outlets and a wide range of meetings and banqueting facilities.
